Ive never tried a waist cincher before so I
wasn't sure what to expect. This one just arrived an hour ago and upon opening,
I laughed. I thought, ain't no way this is gonna wrap around this gut! It
looked too small and not long enough. But I'm desperate and decided to atleast
try it before printing out a return label. My waist is 40, height is 5'6. The
first hook at the bottom is the hardest it once u get passed that, it's easy. I
was a little concerned at first because it seems to buckle in the back at the
back roll and bra line. I messed around with it, pulling and pushing where
needed. I can say honestly, it's not that bad for my first waist cincher. It
did what it was supposed to, giving me smoothness and pulls in my tummy well
enough to wear under the dress I'm wearing for a wedding this weekend. I may
order this in a large if I want a "super" snatched look. It's
comfortable as far as I can tell. Didn't want a latex trainer because the
wedding's in Vegas. Sweating is not an option! This one is breathable and does
provide an obvious transformation instantly.

I hate wearing shapewear with a passion and
avoid it whenever I can, but sometimes you find the perfect outfit for a special
occasion and shapewear is a must.
I have a waist cincher without boning, but it only stays down if I wear it with
pants. I wore this one for an hour under my casual, hang-around-the-house
dress, did a lot of bending, and it didn't ride up at all and I wasn't dying to
tear it off. That's about the best I can hope for in shapewear.
I'm 5'9", 175 pounds, and like every post-menopause woman in my family,
carry the majority of my excess weight in my stomach. This was a challenge to
put on - I alternated top and bottom hooks, and that last middle hook was the
hardest - but once on, I could breathe easily.
Update: I wore this for almost 6 hours for an event. I wasn't tempted to take
it off in the ladies room, but during the last 10 minutes of the ride home, I
couldn't wait to take it off. The event was more standing than sitting, and it
was much more comfortable while standing.

My measurements are:
Bust- 34
Waist- 27
Hips- 38
Bra Size- 32C
5’9” 150 pounds
I ordered the small and it was pretty easy to get on, probably could have gone
with x-small to be super snatched.
It shrinks your waist but that’s about it. It doesn’t reach my lower stomach
(which is what I wanted t conceal). But it could be because I’m on the taller
side. It shows through a fitted dress since it’s not a smooth transition from
the bottom of it. It works well with flowing dresses and pants. I tested out
wearing it to work and it was fine for 3-4 hours. After that it was
uncomfortable and digging. But my job is very active so I think for a night out
it would have been fine.

I’ve been wearing these support devices
several days a week for many years now. This is probably the softest and
supportive and most comfortable device I’ve found as I didn’t like the rubbery
or hard metal types at all. I have six of these, 2 black, 2 white, 2 nude, and
I wear one a day to work or while exercising and take a break one day usually
Sunday.
But now I am writing this review to warn women:
Wearing these have worsened my health.
- I have no lower belly strength or feeling anymore.
- Bc I have very little abdominal strength (I exercise 4-5x/week and have a
strong core), but MY BACK has been overcompensating.
- I have had very severe back pain now and have probably spent tens of
thousands on chiropractic and doctors and MRIs and creams and heating pads and
taking time off work. Why? I think it’s from wearing waist trainers. I thought
it was bc of work, exercise, aging, or my bed but I finally realized it’s the
corsets that I wear all day.
- I have completely stopped wearing these now. My back pain is slowly getting
better. But it took me years to figure out why I’d have back pain after wearing
these corsets. I regret buying and using these for so many years.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good support and smoothing effect.

The draw back with this product is that the
boning is WAY longer than a proper corset should have, the channels have no
wiggle room to prevent excessive stress on them and I imagine with any regular
wear, they will definitely puncture through the fabric. Most of the support is
simply in the stretch material and I feel like the boning has been rendered
useless because of the seam work on this piece so I'll probably be taking them
out. The fabric material is nice, the smoothing effect is exactly what I wanted
and for the price, it's definitely worth it. I took the chance because it was
one of the most affordable options for me at the moment for something that
isn't a necessity and I'm happy with the quality for that reason but it's
definitely not a replacement for the real thing if you're looking to wear this
regularly as it might cause health complications. I only wear these pieces for
specific occasions like dressing up in a more form fitted dress or wearing
costume body suits to help my posture look better for photos. Please invest in
a custom made corset instead if you're looking for regular day to day long time
wear, this product is not for that.
